Happy Friday everybody!

Today we are sharing photos from a beautiful wedding from a couple of weeks ago. The flowers included white oriental lilies, peonies, hydrangea and stephanotis, green cymbidium orchids and orange calla lilies with curly willow. It was a really fresh colour scheme, looked really clean and complimented the bridesmaids gorgeous dresses wonderfully! The best part was the bridal bouquet wasn’t a standard hand tied bouquet, I actually got to design an armature out of the curly willow and design the flowers into it. I really do love using this technique and you can also do it with other materials, like decorative wire. We had a fun time designing and love how they all turned out. Check out the lovely photos from Northridge Photography.

Good morning, everyone!

I did promise you that we had lots of fun posts coming up, did I not?! Along with catching up with on some weddings from last summer and our big blog post on DIY wedding flowers (plus a give away…just sayin’…) we have another one for you today! This wedding is from just a couple weeks ago, and it is a beauty! I love the dramatic look of the bold yellow and black. As much as I enjoy a beautiful, romantic muted colour scheme, I gravitate to bright colours so I think it is super fun to do bold weddings like this. I love the glittered craspedia and the feathers and the wonderful ribbon collar. Not only are the flowers gorgeous, but all the girls look stunning in their beautiful dresses!  All the photos are from Stephanie Clark Photography who was generous to share!

We have a pretty photo shoot coming up this weekend so keep an eye on Instagram for some teasers!
