Hello, everyone! We have been meaning to share an update with how everything went at With This Ring Bridal Gala in early February (along with pictures of course!), but we have been keeping busy. It has been an exciting month for us! We have most definitely been keeping extremely busy with consultations gearing up for a fun summer (don’t wait long if you haven’t already booked your consultation, we are filling up quickly!), we have had a few winter weddings, a couple of our weddings from over the last year have been featured on wedding blogs and most recently have been invited to design a bouquet for Wedding Bells Magazine’s ‘Canada’s Most Beautiful Bouquets’ feature! We feel incredibly honoured and cannot wait to get planning.
But back to the Bridal Gala! It was the first gala for Travis and I to plan together, and it was a blast! We were both full of ideas and we were both so happy with how things came together, with a wonderful mix of both of our styles. We were inspired by Pantone choosing Radiant Orchid as colour of the year and wanted to show how versatile the colour can be with bouquets that were funky, modern, earthy or just classic beauties.

We had the help from some awesome vendors – our cocktail tables, linens and gorgeous chiavary chairs from Special Event Rentals, we got to borrow a model decked out in a stunning gown from Your Wedding Place and last, but certainly not least we had the very sweet, amazingly talentedAshley King Photography come by to take pictures of our booth so that we could share with all of you who couldn’t make it! She is such a wonderful photographer, if you don’t already know her – take a quick moment to pop over to her Facebook page and give her a like! Below are the fabulous photos she took for us – enjoy and be sure to tell us which design is your favourite!

One of our favs! Ombre bouquet with carnations and an individual rose with some feather accents.
As a side note – we had a tons of brides who LOVED the faux barn wood backdrop that we made for our little “ceremony” so Travis is in the process of writing up a tutorial with the details on how it was made. Keep posted on our facebook page to see the post when it is completed! Hope you enjoyed all the photos, until next time..!
