Some weddings are beautiful, and others feel like an enchanted fairytale. This celebration at Archway Manor lived in that second category, offering a luxurious experience shaped by heartfelt history and refined design. It was extra meaningful to us, as the bride’s first job was with us during our time at the mall, and it was at our store that the bride and groom shared their first date. Kaylee’s mom is also Lindsay Nickel, and has supported Calyx for years, so the day felt like a full circle moment wrapped in elegance and emotion.

From the instant the bride stepped into view, every detail echoed quiet luxury. Her gown featured delicate lace, soft structure, and an effortlessly romantic neckline. Her hair framed her face with graceful movement, and her makeup felt polished yet gentle. The effect highlighted her natural beauty, especially her bright eyes and the soft glow she carried all day. Her bouquet added to this feeling with a lush blend of garden roses, ranunculus, delphinium, tweedier, sweet peas, spray roses, and lisianthus. A meaningful charm on her stem wrap offered a sentimental touch that paired beautifully with the rest of her look.

The bridesmaids added even more charm to the scene. Their blue gowns created a flattering, modern palette that photographed perfectly. Each bridesmaid carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet, which tied their look together with soft colour seamlessly. When they gathered around her, the group felt ethereal.

The groom brought his own classic presence to the day. His tux fit the chic setting and added a timeless note to the aesthetic. His gentle, adoring expressions toward his bride created moments that felt straight from a romance novel, offering the perfect contrast to the bright summer setting. Together they created a day filled with style, sentiment and true devotion.

CEREMONY

Guests felt the magic the moment they pulled in to Archway Manor. A grand fountain overflowing with pastel blooms greeted them in the courtyard, setting an immediate tone of romance. Soft water movement paired with lush florals created a serene welcome that hinted at the beauty waiting ahead.

As guests continued toward the ceremony space, they passed elegant planters and stately floral urns. The arrangements featured a refined blend of roses, lisianthus, delphinium and airy greens. These elements guided guests along the pathway and built anticipation with every step. The floral choices matching the day’s palette and offered a graceful transition into the forested ceremony setting.

The entrance arch served as a striking preview of the artistry to come. Designed as a broken arch, featured layers of roses, stock, delphinium and lush foliage. The structure framed the brides processional beautifully and added a sense of depth to the approach. The style felt intentional and sculptural, blending garden softness with architectural shape.

Moving into the aisle guests found themselves surrounded by abundant arrangements lining both sides. Petals scattered across the walkway added movement and texture. The colour story of soft pink, ivory, lavender and blue felt light and romantic. These florals created a gentle path that led toward the show stopping arch at the front.

The ceremony arch itself stood as the true centrepiece. Designed as a dramatic, solid floral structure, it rose from the ground in full luxurious layers. Gardeny blooms formed a cloud like wall of colour. The arch held incredible presence against the tall evergreens, creating a perfect blend of manicured beauty and natural wilderness.

Ultimately, the ceremony space offered harmony between opulence and nature. The florals elevated the space while still complimenting the forest surroundings, creating a breathtaking place for the couple to exchange vows.

RECEPTION

Upon entering the reception, guests encountered a thoughtfully styled guestbook table. Soft floral arrangements added colour and texture while maintaining a refined first impression. The placement invited guests to pause, take in the details, and ease into the evening’s celebration.

Nearby, a floral urn accented the seating chart with garden inspired softness. The movement blended function with beauty, guiding guests while continuing the visual story. Each floral element felt deliberate and balanced within the architecture of the room.

As the space opened further, the bar became a focal point. The ceremony’s broken arch found a new life here, framing the space with lush blooms and trailing foliage. This repurposed feature connected the day’s design from vows to celebration. It also created a striking backdrop for cocktails and conversation.

Elsewhere, the grand staircase transformed into a dramatic feature. Cascading florals followed its curves, enhancing the architectural beauty and adding movement throughout the room. Also nearby, the dessert bar received a delicate floral accent, softening the display while keeping the focus on celebration.

The guest tables felt equally intentional and beautifully styled. Grand centrepieces anchored each table with layered florals and sculptural form. Clustered tapered candles added warmth and rhythm to the design. Blue napkins introduces a soft wash of colour, while menu cards rested neatly at each setting. Individual delphinium blooms accented place settings with a thoughtful touch. Frosted acrylic table numbers with gold detailing completed the look. Together, these elements created tables that felt both polished and inviting.

The sweetheart table held special presence within the room. A solid floral arch framed the couple, drawing focus without overwhelming the space. Arrangements along the floor added depth, while bud vases lined the tabletop with understated charm. This setting felt romantic, intimate and quietly lavish.

Overall, the reception space felt opulent and undeniably pretty. Florals elevated the room with intention, creating a romantic, fairytale atmosphere for an unforgettable evening.
