Archway Manor requires very little introduction. Its soaring double staircase, wrought iron balustrades, and crystal chandeliers set a tone that few venues in Alberta can match – and this blush wedding rose to meet every inch of it.
The bride arrived in a cathedral length lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and a train that pooled generously behind her. Her cathedral veil, delicate and long, caught the light with every step. Dark hair swept up and away from her face drew attention to strong bone structure and luminous skin. She carried a rounded, hand tied bouquet of roses, ranunculus and jasmine vine – lush, full and opulent.
Her bridal party leaned into the palette beautifully. Gowns ranged across mauve, dusty rose, and deep berry tones, each dress chosen to complement rather than compete. Their bouquets, compact rose bouquets in blush and champagne, unified the group with ease.
Calyx Floral Design anchored the ceremony arch with abundant ground arrangements of garden roses, peonies, and hydrangea, trailing Italian ruscus lending movement and depth. The reception carried the same softness indoors – draped head table adorned with a lush low centrepiece, a crescent broken arch floral installation rising behind the couple’s chairs, and slender pink tapers flickering above each guest table’s rose, peony and hydrangea clusters.
Every bloom, candle and carefully considered detail created a magical atmosphere that reflected Ashley + Alex’s love story.
