Upcoming Archway Manor Open House

The breath taking scenery of Central Alberta's hottest new venue, Archway Manor. The bride and groom are standing at one of the beautiful balconies, with her long veil trailing over the railing.

If you haven’t heard about Archway Manor just yet, it is Central Alberta’s hottest new wedding venue – and for good reason! This breathtaking venue is European inspired, intentionally designed for a luxury experience for your dream event. With an eye for detail, the design both inside and out is nothing short of perfection.

You drive up to the property, with a circular driveway (which features a large marble fountain), beautifully manicured landscaping, dramatic entrance with balconies with wrought iron railings. You enter a circular foyer with stunning, elaborate tile work. There is elegant wainscoting and crown moulding, crystal chandeliers and as you come around into the reception space,  an exquisite grand staircase with romantic Juliette balconies overlooking it. Large, arched windows line the wall, enchanting the room with natural light. Garden doors lead out to the terrace with dramatic wall of archway pillars, showcasing a picturesque backdrop of their one-acre pond, with a fountain and a gorgeous white marble gazebo.

There is a stone pathway out to the outdoor ceremony space. An extraordinary 12ft stone archway makes the perfect backdrop for the couple to exchange vows. The space is enclosed by large, majestic spruce trees. While surrounded by natural beauty, the space has a designed floor, so you don’t have to worry about it being muddy in cooler seasons, or guests ruining their shoes. Archway Manor can provide up to 170 white resin chairs for the ceremony for a perfect, romantic, intimate ceremony sure to be unforgettable.

If that isn’t enough, this glamourous property features 25 acres of land with no shortage of stunning, photo worthy locations. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a separate entrance for caterers. There is a bridal suite with 3 vanities, plush furnishings, a full length mirror and private ensuite for you and bridal party’s comfort. There is also a groom’s room with leather furnishings and a bar cart for the men to get ready and relax before the ceremony. After hosting a fabulous event, there is a charming cottage available for the couple to stay for the night of their wedding, as well as 20 on-site camping spots that your guests are able to reserve for the night of the event. What more could you want from a wedding venue?!

PHOTOSHOOT

We got the chance to do a photo shoot at the newly opened venue with a number of fabulous vendors. We were super excited to get a chance to check out the new venue and work with them, and upon viewing the luxurious property our excitement leveled up! While there are a number of absolutely amazing venues that we love working with in Central Alberta, this really is a unique option and unlike anything else out there!

Our colour palette was a combination of white, cream, pinks and green and we were going for a style that was gardeny, but with a more natural and earthy edge. We used flowers like hydrangea, peonies, roses, delphinium, snapdragons, lilacs, cherry blossom branches, sweet peas, dried bougainvilla accented with some decorative grasses and moss.

The bridal bouquet was a range of soft pinks with a loose organic style. The decorative grasses added a very natural feel to the bouquet and also a lovely element of movement. With peonies, roses and sweet peas there was a light fragrance, which is delightful! We finished it off with a simple pink stem wrap.

We designed a long, low centrepiece which was displayed at the sweetheart table. I love the gentle ombre fading from pink to cream to white. So beautiful, and a lovely feature for the special table!

Lastly, we designed a stunning floral installation to highlight the archway at the outdoor ceremony location. I love the organic style of this. Between the loose style of the design and the gardeny blooms like delphinium, lilacs and peonies, it looked less like a traditional arrangement and more like a flourishing garden. We cleverly designed this in pieces so the individual sections could be moved and used as arrangements on the stairs and also the alternative sweetheart tablescape.
