Wedding season is slowly starting to wrap up for us, so we finally get more time to start sharing photos of some of the beautiful things we have been working on! I am sure you have seen us sharing some of the amazing photos from Lindsay Nickel Photography of our booth at the fall With This Ring Bridal Gala and today we are here to share the rest! We had a lot of fun with this one, we started off with the idea that we wanted to do a circus wedding and from there the ideas just kind of exploded ! One of my favourite things about working for Calyx Floral Design is the amazing group of women I work with – we really work well together as a team and once we get excited about something we all just build on each others ideas. It is a pretty magical process and it is really cool to see how four very different designers can come together and create something like this! #blessed

Anyway, like I said we got inspired by creating a circus feel,  but a bit more of a vintage circus with richer tones and lots of texture. We chose classic circus colours red + turquoise mixed with a lot of darker tones and copper accents. We ha beautiful red velvet drapes to create our “stage” where we had dancers from Strive Dance Acaemy performing, suspended rings to display our bouquets, a ton of fun hair pieces including a stunning floral CROWN crown,  and a cozy little seating area with gorgeous vintage furniture. We all loved how it turned out and are so proud to say that we won best booth, as voted by our peers at the gala and are already brainstorming ideas for the spring gala. Enjoy the photos!
