2017 Spring Bridal Gala
Hi everyone, happy Monday!
At the beginning of the month we were at With This Ring Bridal Gala, which we always love doing! The ladies always do such a wonderful job organizing the gala and of course we love having the opportunity to play and make pretty things! We were so pleased with how things all came together – we did a mix of a mix of neutrals with lots of metallics and little punches of burgundy. It turned out super romantic and pretty with just little rustic element because wood is beautiful. Amiright?
All the flowers are obviously our own, the cute ladder is also one of our rentals (only $75!! Ask Travis for more details!). The rest of the rentals are from some of our trusty local wedding peeps! We got our adorable table from Something Borrowed, the rest (linens, cocktail tables, barrels, chairs, tableware) are from Special Event Rentals. We got SO many compliments and questions about our sequin linens and the stunning wine barrels – so now you all know where they came from! I highly recommend chatting with Jennie when you go see them, she is pretty much a wedding genius!
I am delighted to share that we won best booth as voted by our peers! We are so honored and blessed to have so many supporters in our industry and we want you all to know that it means a lot to us! So – since we won best booth, we will see you all again in the fall!
On with the photos! As promised we had our wonderful friend, Linsday Nickel come in before the gala started to get photos of all the pretties and we borrowed a model and dress from our favourite Bridal store Novia Mia Bridal to show the bouquets off beautifully. Come check them out!
This year the bridal gala did something a little different and had a section in the center where four tables were set up by some of the local wedding vendors. We teamed up with Special Event Rentals and it came together beautifully! They have such gorgeous rentals, and the made our table look like a milliond bucks! They layered up some super pretty linens, with a satin, a sheer beaded beauty and sequins of course… because sparkles!! Then they loaded up the table with lots of glass – tons of cylinder glass vases, charger plates, lovely glasses which they topped up with some bubbly and grapes! Then WE loaded up the table with flowers, with a massive arrangement of blush beauties cascading down the tall cylinder vases and pooling at the base. Poofy clouds of hydrangea, roses, lisianthus, and hellebores topped off with blush wire. The guests then voted on the tables to decide which they liked best and we are proud to say our team won first place! It was super fun to do something glamorous with lots of texture and sparkle and of course loved working with the talented team at Special Event Rentals. Thanks for all the votes everyone!!
