Abby + Brett Wedding
Ok you guys are absolutely going to love this blush summer wedding! Seriously, it is everything amazing! The soft and pretty colour scheme, the amazing dress and a model-esque wedding party! GORGEOUS!
A little about the flowers… Abby’s bouquet perfectly accented her blush dress (from Novia Mia Bridal in Red Deer). To make her flowers a little more unique, we incorporated a few scabiosa pods that had been tinted with rose gold. They were perfect! – don’t be a afraid to add a little touch of metallics into your flowers, it looks soooo good!!!
The perfect accent for her full and lush bouquet? Simple blush mono-botanical (a big fancy word for one type of flower:) Astilbe bouquets for her bridesmaids.
Her archway was another stunning feature. A fresh green garland accented with clusters of roses, astilbe and hydrangea was draped across the top of the rustic and natural archway (and later re-used along the head table at the reception – great idea and an awesome money saving tip!) and generous arrangements of fresh blooms were placed on wine barrels on either side of the archway. These arrangements weren’t designed by us; the bride’s aunt picked up matching loose fresh flowers from us the day before the wedding and designed them herself! Nice work! They are stunning!!
The reception was beautiful as well, decorated with ivory linen and blush sequins the tall table centres added a luxury element. Again, we incorporated a touch of rose gold by tinting some curly willow before using it for added height. The centrepieces really stood out with a lush greenery base and soft floral accents
