Meagan and Dwayne’s Romantic Blush and Mauve Canmore Wedding

Blush and Mauve Canmore Wedding - Meagan and Dwayne's Bridal Party standing in the snowy Rocky Mountains at Canmore. The bridesmaids are wearing mauve dresses and shawls and holding mauve, blush and white bouquets with greenery.

Today I am excited to share with you Meagan and Dwayne’s Blush and Mauve Canmore Wedding! This gorgeous wedding took place at the Cornerstone Theatre in Canmore, Alberta on a snowy September day. This romantic wedding featured gorgeous bouquets, a beautiful floral covered hexagon archway, tons of fresh greenery, the incredible Rocky Mountains and even a cute dog! Check it out!

First of all, our beautiful bride Meagan carried the most stunning hand-tied bouquet made of blush, white and mauve flowers such as quicksand roses, playa blanca roses, ranunculus and panda anemones. It was finished with a mixed variety of eucalyptus greenery and tied with a mauve satin ribbon. I love the loose and natural style of this bouquet. It is formal and classic with a sweetly romantic feel. Simply gorgeous!

Moreover, her bridesmaids carried slightly smaller bouquets made with similar flowers and greenery. They were the perfect compliment to the bridal bouquet and stood out beautifully against the floor-length mauve dresses. I also love their blanket scarf shawls for when it got a little too chilly… Furthermore, the cute little flower girls had on the sweetest little tie-back flower crowns made of blush and white flowers with greenery. Aren’t they adorable?!

Finally, the floral decor at this wedding did not disappoint! At the ceremony, a wood hexagon archway at the end of the aisle was decorated with two beautiful floral arrangements. They were designed to sit asymmetrically on the corners.  Greenery such as salal, seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus was used to create a full and natural base. It was completed with a variety of white, blush and mauve blooms such as hydrangea, quicksand roses, and amnesia roses. At the base of the archway sat two more arrangements with similar greenery and florals but included larkspur for height. What a stunning focal point!

Furthermore, the reception was decorated with plenty of fresh greenery. A large garland made of salal and eucalyptus covered the length of the 24 foot head table. Wow! The other tables were decorated with loose greenery centrepieces made of fresh eucalyptus and italian ruscus. Fairy lights and white roses were tucked in for added interest. These centrepieces sure look sharp with the black tablecloths and gold accents! Moreover, a gorgeous stone fireplace was also decorated with greenery and the arrangements from the ceremony archway were later relocated to the hearth. What a cozy and romantic mountain wedding this was!
