Caitlin and Josh’s Boho-Chic Wedding

Boho-Chic Bride and Groom

Taking place at the beautiful 52 North Wedding Venue near Sylvan Lake Alberta, this Boho-Chic themed wedding had floral designs that were both boho and beautiful in colors of white and green with a pop of burnt orange and copper tones.

Two arrangements of fresh greenery and blooms were the focal point of the romantic outdoor ceremony.  Each arrangement sat at the top right corner and base of the bride’s hexagon archway. The full and natural base was created with magnolia, olive, leather leaf and parvifolia eucalyptus greenery.  Atop a variety of dried elements including palm, pampas grass, lotus pods, bleached ruscus and bracken fern were added. The fresh blooms included were brown amaranthus, burnt orange dahlia, toffee and playa blanca roses, magnolia, leaves, and white ranunculus all adding to the rich color scheme.

Our bride carried a bouquet made with a variety of flowers in white with accents of burnt orange and copper tones including white ranunculus, white playa blanca roses, copper toffee roses, brown amaranthus.  To bring out the boho theme dried elements such as bleached ruscus and bracken fern, and tucks of pampas grass were added.  The greenery included magnolia leaves, olive, leather leaf fern, italian ruscus, bay laurel and eucalyptus parvifolia. To finish it all off the handle was wrapped with a black silk.  A smaller version of the bride’s bouquet was also designed for a throw bouquet and used on the guest book table as decor.

Designed to perfectly match the bride’s bouquet yet still stand out against their taupe dresses, the bridesmaids carried stunning natural hand tied bouquets designed in a loose and natural style using a variety of flowers in white, burnt orange and copper tones.  The blooms included white ranunculus, white playa blanca roses, copper toffee roses and brown amaranthus.  Similar to the bride’s bouquet, dried elements such as bleached ruscus, bracken fern, and tucks of pampas grass were added.  The mixed deep green toned greenery included magnolia leaves, leather leaf fern, olive, italian ruscus, bay laurel and eucalyptus parvifolia. In addition to the bouquets a small “mini-bouquet” style wrist corsage was made for the groom’s daughter designed using a cluster of small blooms and greenery taken from the bridesmaid’s bouquets.

The groom wore a small “mini-bouquet” style boutonnière designed with a cluster of small blooms and greenery taken from the bride’s bouquet and wrapped with black stem wrap. The groomsmen also wore a small “mini-bouquet’ style boutonnière designed with a cluster of small blooms and greenery taken from the bridesmaid’s bouquets and wrapped with black stem wrap.
