Breanna and Eric’s Captivating Canmore Wedding

Wedding Couple

I am happy to share with you this Captivating Canmore Wedding that took place at the luxurious Malcome Hotel.

Our stunning bride carried a gorgeous cascade bouquet with individually placed flowers that stood out against a variety of both rich deep green and sage toned greenery that trailed down the length of the bouquet to form a stunning tail to the cascade. The bouquet was made with a variety of flowers in blush, ivory, and light pink with accents of soft lavender and pale blue tones and included flowers such as antique blush pink quicksand roses, light pink ranunculus, pale pink astilbe, pink sweet peas, ivory playa blanca roses, keira garden roses, pink sweet peas, pale lavender freesia and lisianthus, and soft blue forget me knot blooms. Greenery included italian ruscus and gunni eucalytpus as well as tucks of pittosporum nigra. The handle was wrapped with a simple pale pink ribbon.

Her handsome groom wore a small “Mini-Bouquet’ style boutonnière designed with a cluster of small blooms and greenery taken from her bouquet .

Situated on the patio of the Malcolm hotel the couple said their vows  in front of the bride’s circular archway that was decorated with two asymmetrical arrangements of fresh greenery and blooms that sat on the top left and bottom right sides of the archway. Designed to match the look and feel of the flowers used throughout the wedding but also to match the inspiration of the couple’s new family logo. The florals on the top left focused on pink and blooms will be incorporated to emulate the Alberta wild roses while the blooms on the bottom right were mainly orange and incorporated orange asiatic lilies to represent the Cafra lily.

Following the ceremony the cocktail hour was held just inside the patio doors with the reception to follow.  The Sweetheart table was decorated with the bride’s gorgeous cascading bouquet that was attached to the table using a bouquet clip.

Designed to be elegant yet still have a hint of wildness the guest table centerpiece arrangements were made using a lush and full arrangement of blooms in ivory and palest pink accented by touches of pale blue and lavender and filled to overflowing with fresh greenery. These arrangements sat atop the bride’s rental gold candelabras and clear glass vases. Each place setting had a single piece of Italian ruscus greenery placed atop each napkin.

In order to honor the loved ones of the couple who had passed on, a memorial table was set up and decorated with four vases each with different flowers with different sentimental meaning.  The first small vase contained three sunflowers, the second had three gladiola, the third had three lily stems and the fourth contained three alstromeria (to resemble clivia) stems.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog and you were able to envision this Captivating Canmore Wedding and might be inspired to use this design for your wedding.
