I would like to share with you Alex and Dylan’s Captivating Castle Wedding that took place at the stately Banff Springs Hotel. The colours were in whites and green giving it a crisp romantic feel.

Our bride carried a stunning compact and round styled natural hand tied bouquet. Individually placed white and ivory toned flowers stood out against tucks of rich deep green greenery. The bouquet was made using white playa blanca roses, white ranunculus and Israeli ruscus.  The handle was wrapped with a simple ivory satin ribbon to finish it off.

Designed to perfectly match the bride’s bouquet the bridesmaid’s bouquets were designed in a round compact style using the same gorgeous white and ivory flowers but included more greenery and were smaller to allow the brides bouquet to be the focal point.

Located in the magnificent Mount Stephens Hall the ceremony boasted stunning floral adornments that added to the picturesque setting.  The couple said their vows in the middle of two large arrangements that sat atop of clear pillars designed with fresh italian ruscus, israeli ruscus and salal greenery, babies breath and white playa blanca roses.

Following the romantic ceremony, the room was transformed for the elegant reception.  Sitting at the base of the seating chart a single arrangement was designed to be full and lush and match the look of the centerpieces used on the guest tables. Round guest tables boasted elevated arrangements that sat on the top of clear stands.  Draping down over the edges of the stand the arrangements base were designed with fresh greenery and accented by white hydrangea, tucks of babies breath, white spray roses, white ranunculus and white playa blanca roses.  The long guest tables were enhanced with fresh loose italian ruscus greenery designed to look like a garland with italian ruscus and placed along the whole length of the tables.  White rose and spray rose blooms were tucked throughout to add a floral element.

Lastly, the couple’s cake was decorated with two cake corsages added onto the cake designed with perfectly bloomed white roses and ranunculus with tucks of deep green italian ruscus.
