Claudia and Colin’s Charming Parkside Wedding

Picturesque Parkside bride and groom

This charming wedding took place at the historic picturesque Coronation Park in Red Deer, Alberta.  Being named as one of the most sought-after outdoor wedding locations, this intimate setting is known for its mature trees, beautiful landscapes and the photo worthy walking bridge that crosses the Waskasoo Creek.

Our stunning bride carried a natural hand tied bouquet designed in a loose and natural style with a slight oblong shape that was held as a cascade.  The bouquet was made with a variety of flowers in sage, ivory and blush tones including antique blush pink quicksand roses, blush Lola succulents, white astrantia, panda anemone, blush ranunculus, white sweet peas and included a variety of mixed eucalyptus greenery.  Her Groom wore a single small spray rose accented by pale pink astilbe and greenery and wrapped with a sage green ribbon to match the bride’s bouquet.

Next, we have the beautiful bridesmaids.  Their bouquets were designed with fresh mixed eucalyptus greenery and a touch of pale pink astilbe to compliment the bride’s bouquet perfectly and stood out beautifully against their gorgeous black dresses. On the groom’s side we had the groomsmen who wore a smaller version of the groom’s boutonniere designed with the same single spray rose, pink astilbe and greenery.

Small corsages were designed for a special aunt, mothers, and grandmothers of the couple with a single white ranunculus bloom accented by greenery and a touch of ribbon.  Fathers and grandfathers wore a single small spray rose accented by pale pink astilbe and greenery and wrapped with a sage green ribbon.

Following the romantic ceremony the reception took place at the Cambridge hotel.  This elegant setting was enhanced by the gorgeous centerpieces that adjourned the tables.  Half of the centerpieces were designed with fresh loose greenery including silver dollar eucalyptus, seeded eucalyptus and italian ruscus and were placed at the base of the bride’s cylinder vases with candles.  The other half of the tables had fresh greenery designed atop gold stands that were rented by the bride, in the center of each table. These gorgeous greenery arrangements were designed to match the low centerpieces with a mix of eucalyptus, salal and italian ruscus.
