I’m so excited to share with you Chelsey and Jade’s Rustic Elegance Wedding! This wedding took place at Westerner Park, Red Deer, with the ceremony at Harvest Gardens and the reception in the Chalet. The perfect venue for this rustic yet elegant wedding!

First of all, look at this adorable couple! Chelsey looked so beautiful! She had flowers in her hair and carried the most stunning bridal bouquet. It was made with a variety of flowers in creams and pale pink tones such as white peonies, white o’hara garden roses, quicksand roses, pale pink sweet peas, white scabiosa, pale pink astilbe, rose gold scabiosa pods and a variety of eucalyptus greenery. My favourite flower in this bouquet was the white scabiosa (shocking considering there were peonies in there!!). Scabiosa are beautiful flowers with a delicate lace-like petal. Great in any elegant bridal bouquet but perfect for a rustic wedding! If only they had a prettier name…

Next, her bridesmaid carried a bouquet made with similar flowers but smaller in size, complimenting the bride. Furthermore, the men wore mini bouquet-styled boutonnieres designed with a small cluster of blooms taken from the bride’s bouquet. What a lovely bridal party!

Now check out the gorgeous floral decor! For the outdoor ceremony, a huge fresh greenery garland hung on the pergola. Clusters of blooms including roses, hydrangeas and astilbe made this 10 foot garland complete! Also, it was later draped on the head table for the reception. For the perfect rustic touch, arrangements designed with similar flowers were placed atop barrels and used in both the ceremony and reception locations. Now for my favourite part… the centrepieces! Alternating high and low centrepieces were definitely the wow factor as you walked into the room. The stunning tall glass centrepieces were made of hydrangeas, astilbe and quicksand roses while the short compote vases included white o’hara garden roses and those lovely lacey scabiosa. I cannot get enough of these tablescapes! Everything is just so beautiful!
