Kaitlin and Darren’s Classy Vintage Wedding

Classy Vintage Bride and Groom

I am happy to share with you Kaitlin and Darren’s Classy Vintage Wedding that took place at the Pine and Pond Wedding Venue.

Our stunning bride carried a natural hand tied bouquet designed in shades of pink and ivory with accents of sage tones.  The lush blooms included Emma Woodhouse and Keira David Austen garden roses, pink and blush peonies, pink ranunculus, ivory majolica spray roses and tucks of tiny white and yellow matricaria.  The individually placed flowers stood out against a variety of sage toned seeded, silver dollar and gunni eucalyptus.

Designed in a style that perfectly matched the brides, the bridesmaids bouquets were also made with a variety of flowers in shades of pink and ivory and mixed eucalyptus.

Scattering white and pink rose petals down the aisle, the adorable flower girls wore small and delicate tie-back floral crowns designed with a mix of greenery and blooms to match the bouquets including matricaria, blush, pink and ivory spray roses and eucalyptus greenery.

Next the groom wore a small “mini-bouquet’ style boutonnière designed with a cluster of small blooms and greenery taken from the bride’s bouquet. His groomsmen and ring bearers wore “mini-bouquet’ style boutonnières designed with a cluster of small blooms and greenery taken from the bridesmaids bouquets.

With the park-like setting as their stunning background the couple exchanged their vows in front of the Pine and Pond archway that was adorned with a simple yet beautiful floral arrangement that sat on the  top left corner.  Greenery such as salal, italian ruscus, seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus was used to create a full and natural base.  Atop this a variety of blooms to match those used in the bouquets.

Following the romantic ceremony the reception boasted colours in shades of pink with yellow and green accents to match the vintage china dinnerware.  The guest book table display was also done in true vintage style with cherished  family photographs, candles and a gorgeous vase arrangement designed using the same florals as those used throughout the wedding.

Making its second appearance, the archway arrangement used at the ceremony was a classy addition to the hexagon archway that sat behind the head table.  Its lush soft shades made the perfect backdrop for photos of the happy couple. The guest tables were decorated with the bride’s small bud vases that held 1-2 blooms and a couple tucks of greenery to match those used throughout the wedding.

When time came to cut the cake, the cameras were out to capture the elegant white two-tiered wedding cake that was accented with a cake corsage designed to match the rest of the Wedding florals and add to the stunning aesthetic of the event.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog and you were able to envision this Classy Vintage Wedding and might be inspired to use this design for your big day.
