Danille and Mathijs’ Succulent Wedding

Bride with bridesmaids at a rocky mountain lake holding succulent and paper flower bridal bouqets

Today I am pleased to share with you Danille and Mathijs’ Succulent Wedding! If you love succulents and compact bouquets, then you are going to love this mountain wedding!

These gorgeous bouquets are actually made with a green hydrangea base even though most of what you see is a variety of succulents. Antique mauve Amnesia roses, Gypsophila (the fancy word for babies breath), a touch of seeded eucalyptus, and the bride’s handmade book paper flowers were added for interest and variety. The bridesmaids’ bouquets perfectly match the look and feel of the bridal bouquet. They also perfectly compliment their mauve dresses! As for the groom, his boutonniere was made of a single succulent accented by a few “petals” from the paper roses with a pinch of greenery to finish. His groomsmen, on the other hand, wore boutonnieres of paper roses and seeded eucalyptus. So fun!

I hope you enjoy these photos from Joy Breitkreutz Photography!
