Amy and Phil’s Dazzling Champagne and Burgundy Wedding

Bride and Groom with bouquet

Today I am happy to share with you this Dazzling Champagne and Burgundy Wedding that took place at the beautiful St. Mary’s church and Red Deer Golf and Country Club!  This wedding featured colours in burgundy, navy, champagne and gold.

Our breathtaking bride carried a stunning cascade bouquet with designed in a compact teardrop shape with tucks of italian ruscus and gunni eucalyptus amongst the blooms of individually placed burgundy dahlias, heart garden roses, black baccara roses, pale blush quicksand roses, navy eryngium, white sweet peas, pale pink astilbe and tucks of gold scabiosa pods.  The handle was wrapped with burgundy satin and the bride’s charm was attached.

Her bridesmaid bouquets were designed with the same stunning flowers and greenery and made to be a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet, looking amazing against their burgundy dresses. The flower girl wore a delicate tie-back floral crown designed with burgundy and blush blooms with tucks of greenery throughout and tied with burgundy ribbons.

In addition to our beautiful ladies our handsome groom, his groomsmen and ringbearer wore small “mini-bouquet” style boutonnieres.  The grooms was designed using flowers from the bride’s bouquet and the others were made with flowers from the bridesmaids bouquets, all wrapped with a black ribbon stem wrap.

The Ceremony florals included two accent arrangements that were designed using the same flowers and greenery as those in the bouquets and placed in ivory ceramic planters that sat on either side of the church.  The aisles were marked with fresh round arrangements of blooms in burgundy, creams, navy and blush pinks with a variety of mixed eucalyptus greenery tucked throughout arranged in gorgeous footed compote vases.  These aisle markers were later used as centerpieces at the reception.

Following the ceremony, the reception was decorated in an elegant fashion featuring the head table that boasted a gorgeous bloom filled arrangement that sat in the center of the table.  This fresh arrangement included burgundy, cream, navy and blush pinks blooms with a variety of greenery tucked throughout designed to match the flowers throughout the room.  On the guest tables the aisle markers from the ceremony were used as centerpieces adding to the overall elegant feel.

Overall, this was a stunning wedding. I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog and you were able to envision the elegant ambience and might be inspired to use this design for your wedding.
