Jamie and Scott’s Moody Toned Burgandy Wedding

I am happy to share with you this Moody Toned Burgandy Wedding that took place at the picturesque Canyon Ski Resort.

Our beautiful bride carried a stunning natural hand tied bouquet designed in a loose and natural style with a slight oblong shape. The bouquet was made with a variety of flowers in deep moody tones including plum ranunculus, red charm peonies, black baccara roses, navy eryngium, cappuccino roses, black pearl lisianthus and burgundy agonis. Italian ruscus and jasmine vine greenery were also added to give lush color and texture. The handle was then wrapped in simple burgundy satin.

Her bridesmaid’s bouquets were designed with all fresh mixed greenery including eucalytpus, agonis, ruscus and jasmine vine. They were made to compliment the bride’s bouquet perfectly while allowing her bouquet to be the star of the show. A touch of burgundy astilbe was  tucked throughout the greenery as an added accent of color. The handle was also wrapped with a deep burgundy satin.

A small and delicate tie-back floral crown was designed with a mix of greenery and a small cluster of burgundy blooms to one side for the adorable flower girl.

Next the groom wore a Small “Mini-Bouquet’ Style boutonnière designed with a cluster of small blooms and greenery taken from the bride’s bouquet. His groomsmen wore a small “Mini-Bouquet’ Style boutonnières designed with a cluster of greenery and astilbe accents taken from the bridesmaids bouquets.

Situated  at the base of the ski hill, the ceremony archway was decorated with a single arrangement of fresh salal, italian ruscus and silver dollar eucalyptus greenery and a variety of blooms.  Sitting on the bride’s beautiful draping it was a gorgeous backdrop for the couple’s vows. This arrangement also made its second debut as the head table centerpiece at the reception.

Aisle markers made with a simple ring shaped garland tied with burgundy ribbon were hung from the ends of each of the benches down the aisle.  These were later untied and used as centrepieces at the reception.

Made from the same fresh greenery and blooms that were used throughout the wedding  a single arrangement was placed on the signing table

Following the ceremony, the reception boasted fresh loose greenery including silver dollar eucalyptus, seeded eucalyptus and italian ruscus that were placed along the length of each of the 20 foot long tables.  The focal point and wow factor for the reception was the chandelier decor that was created using a beautiful combination of fresh mixed greenery.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog and you were able to envision this Moody Toned Burgandy Wedding and might be inspired to use this design for your wedding.
