Michelle and Ty’s Burgundy and Blush Wedding

CalyxFloralDesignBurgundyandBlushWedding

Michelle and Ty’s Burgundy and Blush Wedding was a beautiful day, regardless of the rain and last minute change of ceremony location. They say rain on your wedding day is considered good luck, right? The couple rolled with it and moved their outdoor ceremony indoors. Canyon Ski Resort was the perfect venue for such a situation!

First of all, the original plan was to have an outdoor ceremony with an arbor arrangement. However, the stunning floral piece was easily converted to be more suitable indoors. Instead, it was placed on the river rock fireplace mantel inside the lodge. The arrangement consisted of astilbe, roses, dahlias, astrantia, chocolate cosmos and, of course, eucalyptus. I am certainly loving burgundy and blush this wedding season! So pretty!!

Furthermore, the bridesmaids’ blush bouquets were perfect against their elegant burgundy dresses. But the bridal bouquet… Seriously, I think I’m in love!!! Our gorgeous bride carried a stunning cascade bouquet of peonies, roses, dahlias, astrantia, astilbe, succulents and eucalyptus. Oh. My. Goodness!!! Also, in her hair she wore a dahlia clip-in hair piece tucked above the veil. To complement the bride’s bouquet, the groom and groomsmen wore succulent boutonnieres. The mother-of-the-bride wore a pin-on corsage of spray roses and astilbe. So lovely!

Above all, weddings are about marrying the one you love. And regardless of whether or not you are superstitious, wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous on overcast days! Congratulations once again Michelle and Ty! And a big thank you to Lindsay Nickel Photography for sharing these photos with us!
