Located in the heart of Stephen Avenue in downtown Calgary the Pioneer event venue was the prime spot for this Modern and Elegant wedding. Colours in white and green.

Our gorgeous bride carried a natural hand tied bouquet with individually placed flowers that stood out against a collar of rich deep greenery. The bouquet was designed with gorgeous reflexed ivory playa blanca roses and a collar of deep green italian ruscus. Finishing it off the handle was wrapped with a simple white silk.

Designed to perfectly match the brides bouquet yet still stand out against the bridesmaids neutral toned dresses, the bridesmaid bouquets were about 2/3 the size and were created with the same gorgeous reflexed ivory playa blanca roses and a collar of deep green italian ruscus.

In the same fashion our handsome groom, his groomsmen and fathers wore a single white spray rose accented by astrantia and eucalyptus greenery and wrapped in white silk to match the brides bouquet

All ceremony guest’s were wowed by the stunning hanging arrangement that was hung on the brick wall backdrop of the venue. Designed as a hanging crescent, the ceremony’s statement piece provided a modern interpretation of the traditional wedding archway.  The arrangement was made using italian ruscus, seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus for the full and natural base and atop this were a variety of blooms in white as accent. The flowers used included white astible, astrantia, roses, orlaya and ranunculus.

Following the romantic ceremony, the reception boasted more striking floral decor. The wow factor for the room was the hanging greenery chandelier.  This element was created using a beautiful combination of fresh mixed greenery including italian ruscus, southern smilax, lemon leaf and mixed eucalyptus.  This circular piece was 5 feet in diameter and had greenery that hung down between 1-2 feet. Matching the florals used throughout the wedding, the centerpieces were made using greenery and white blooms designed in simple modern white compote dishes. Three small arrangements and four bud vases were placed on the bar, welcome table and in the lounge.  Adding to the ambience of the room fresh greenery was also added to the staircase railings.

Lastly, a moveable wall was decorated and used as a photobooth area for guests with a two-piece asymmetrical hedge on Harlow stands filled with lush greenery and florals, designed to match those used throughout the space.
