Nicole and Jason’s Breathtaking Blush Wedding

Nicole Breathtaking Blush Wedding

It is my pleasure to share with you today Nicole and Jason’s truly breathtaking blush wedding, exuding elegance at the picturesque Banff Springs Fairmont. The natural beauty of the majestic Canadian Rockies makes for such a stunning setting for this timeless, romantic wedding!

Nicole was, without a doubt, an absolutely radiant bride! She is a classic beauty and looked fabulous in her gorgeous gown! Her bouquet was a charming, oval shaped hand tied, rich in texture, with a mixture of ivory and antique blush complimented by sage toned greenery.

We designed her bouquet with playa blanca roses, quicksand roses (one of my favourites!), white ranunculus, blush astilbe and featured some deliciously fragrant blossoms, sweet peas and gardenia peonies. A mixture of eucalyptus was the perfect accent greenery to keep with the soft palette.

Naturally, the bridesmaids were also enchanting in varying vintage shades of rose for their dresses that paired perfectly with the flowers! Their bouquets featured all the same flowers as our brides, made just slightly smaller in scale.

Let’s not forget about the men! Jason and the groomsmen looked very dapper in their fetching tuxedos. And what better way to finish off the look than with a handsome boutonniere? Ranunculus blooms paired with some sweet pea, astilbe and eucalyptus matching all of the lovely ladies’ bouquets.

While the Banff Springs is obviously a beautiful venue on its own, we created some stunning floral pieces to enhance the luxurious setting. Tall, pillowy arrangements full of roses, peonies, astilbe and greens sat atop golden stands highlighted the aisle for the entrance of the glowing couple and their party.

Rather than a traditional archway, a glamorous freestanding asymmetrical floral instalment made for an alluring backdrop. The faux archway, gushing with beautiful, blush blooms, in combination with the natural light streaming from the big windows framed the Nicole and Jason, making the perfect spotlight for saying “I do.”

Once the magical ceremony was finished, our wonderful team swooped in to transfer all the floral pieces to transform the reception venue for the grand celebration! Instead of going with a head table, our blissful couple opted for an intimate sweetheart table just for them, which I love! A lush, fresh garland full of Italian ruscus, gunni eucalyptus and silver dollar draped along their table and the faux archway enveloped them with flowers.

As for the guests, their tables were also beautifully styled. Alternating between the tall and low centrepieces created depth and added visual interest to the space. The tall arrangements were the same gorgeous designs that lined the aisle from the ceremony. Equally sweet, the low pedestal arrangements of roses, astilbe and greens looked incredible.

In addition to the flowers, the tables were accented with some lovely details. The cylindrical vases with pillar candles, elegant gold elements, satin blush napkins and glass charger plates were all on point. The classic, romantic design style was well executed   throughout the entirety of the wedding and it really makes an impact.

I hope you all enjoyed Nicole and Jason’s breathtaking blush wedding as much as I did, and that it sparked some ideas for your own special day!
