Chelsea and Max’s Romantic Rustic Wedding

romantic rustic bride and groom

Chelsea and Max’s romantic, rustic wedding took place outdoors at the bride’s parents’ acreage.   Country Weddings on family properties have become increasingly popular over the last few years.  The feeling of home together with the beauty of nature make it a perfect setting to begin a new life together.

Our glowing bride carried a loose and natural styled bouquet that was slightly elongated and designed using dusty pink butterfly ranunculus, blush butterfly ranunculus, rusty orange dahlia, orange eucalyptus stuartiana, white sweet peas, blush astilbe, brown lisianthus, rusty orange amaryllis, burgundy smoke bush, scabiosa pods and dusty rose koko loco garden roses. The bouquet  also included a variety of mixed eucalyptus greenery such as seeded, silver dollar and gunni eucalyptus and finished off with the handle wrapped with a matching satin ribbon and beautiful trailing silks in matching tones.  In her hair she wore a few loose blooms tucked into her hairstyle that were designed with florals to match those in her bouquet and accented with eucalyptus greenery.

Her bridesmaids’ bouquets perfectly matched her bouquet yet they still stood out against their ombre pink dresses. These bouquets were designed with a variety of eucalyptus greenery and were accented with a few flowers in blush pink and white. The handles were also wrapped with a satin ribbon and had beautiful trailing silks in matching tones.

In addition to our beautiful ladies, our handsome groom and his groomsmen wore a single small blush ranunculus bloom, accented by eucalyptus greenery and wrapped to match the bride’s bouquet. The groomsmen’s boutonnieres were slightly smaller than the grooms and complemented their dark gray suits.

The entrance to the wedding showcased a romantic rustic wood archway.  It was decorated with a gorgeous lush garland that was accented with a combination of dried and fresh flowers. The ceremony site was perfectly framed with two sets of three log arrangements that were designed with stunning fresh florals.  At the ends of each of the guest benches sat a whitewashed wooden box filled with an upright design of grasses, greenery and florals making the walkway burst with color and rustic feel.

Following the romantic ceremony, the reception boasted more striking floral decor.  The aisle markers, log arrangements and archway garland  from the ceremony were repurposed for the reception.  This not only helped with affordability it also gave the impressive designs a second chance to shine.  Firstly the aisle markers were placed at the entrance to the reception tent.  Next the log arrangements were placed by the cake table adding to the classy and rustic look.  Lastly, the head table was stunning with the addition of the garland from the ceremony’s archway.  This lush and impressive piece was  draped along the front of the head table trailing down to the floor on either end.

Designed to match the florals and greenery used throughout the wedding the guest tables each had a striking single arrangement designed in a round gold lower to the table compote that provided a stunning piece on the table that bursted with color and beauty yet it did not impede the guests view.   At each individual place setting a single small piece of eucalyptus greenery was placed to add one more accent of rustic decor.
