Katrina was the picture of timeless beauty on her wedding day – graceful, glowing and radiating pure joy. Her elegant gown, with its structured bodice and sleek silhouette, suited her to perfection and created a stunning contrast against the soft summer light. With loose curls cascading beneath her veil and a bouquet full of warm, romantic tones in hand she embodied a modern classic bride.

Her bouquet was a floral dream, overflowing with layered texture and tone. Fluffy hydrangea gave it softness and volume, while blush quicksand roses, ‘legge marone’ carnations and mocha reflexed lisianthus added richness and depth. Delicate sweet peas, buttery ranunculus and sprigs of gunni eucalyptus completed the design, lending a balance of freshness and flow that mirrored the summer breeze of their outdoor ceremony.

The beauty didn’t stop there – Katrina’s bridesmaids looked equally radiant in their terracotta toned satin gowns, each dress capturing the warm golden hues of the sun. Their coordinating bouquets echoed the bride’s palette with soft romantic blooms that tied everything together beautifully.

CEREMONY

The ceremony took place on a stunning piece of family property, nestled against a breathtaking backdrop of open meadows and lush forest. A winding river ran through the valley, catching the sunlight and adding to the sense of serenity and space. It was a location that felt both intimate and expansive – private, personal and absolutely picturesque.

Guests were greeted with a charming white welcome sign featuring an overflowing arrangement of fresh blooms. Soft roses, dainty spray roses and airy lisianthus spilled over the base, creating a cheerful, fragrant introduction to the day. Just beyond, the ceremony aisle began with two large floral arrangements that made a bold, beautiful statement. Filled with romantic blooms in shades of peach, cream, blush and terracotta, they added structure and softness in all the right ways – perfectly framing the view ahead.

But it was the ground arch behind the couple that truly stole the show. This luxurious floral installation was designed to impress, and it did just that. Carefully constructed with layers of hydrangeas, delphinium, ranunculus, roses, carnations, spray roses and reflexed lisianthus, the arch had a lush, natural shape that made it feel like it was growing right out of the earth. Accents of eucalyptus and Italian ruscus added movement and greenery, enhancing the romantic palette with a sense of wild elegance.

As Katrina and Connor exchanged vows with the wind gently rustling through the grass and their loved ones looking on it, it was hard not to be moved by the beauty and meaning of the moment. Everything – from the view to the florals – felt intentional, grounded and full of heart. A once in a lifetime moment, made even more unforgettable by its incredible setting.

RECEPTION

As guests stepped into the tent, they were met with a magnificent canopy of twinkly string lights and lush greenery. This dramatic ceiling – one of the couples most significant design elements – transformed the space into something truly magical. Garlands of fresh smilax were carefully draped from the center poles and extended outwards in soft, sweeping lines, each strand woven with delicate light that created an ambient, romantic glow as the sun set. It felt like dining under a canopy of starts and the effect was nothing short of enchanting.

The reception tables continued the theme of modern elegance with floral centrepieces inspired by the artful, airy style of ikebana. Each low arrangement featured a refined selection of blooms including quicksand roses, ranunculus, sweet peas and lisianthus thoughtfully placed to highlight negative space and natural form. The result was fresh, contemporary, and impossibly pretty – perfectly in step with the tent’s romantic atmosphere.

Amber glass tea light holders added a soft, golden flicker to each table, complementing the warm palette of the florals and enhancing the sense of intimacy throughout the tent. Delicate favour boxes tied with silk ribbons sat atop each place setting, offering a sweet personal touch for guests to enjoy.

Beneath it all, a checkered dance floor anchored the space and set the stage for a joyful celebration ahead. Surrounded by round and rectangular tables, the layout felt both welcoming and elegant – allowing guests to soak in the atmosphere from every angle. The combination of intentional lighting, fresh florals and stylish touches made this tended reception feel like a dream – proof that thoughtful design and heartfelt celebration go hand in hand.
