Seattle Intrigue Across America Workshop

CalyxFloralDesignSeattleIntrigueAcrossAmericaWorkshop

Travis recently had the opportunity to participate in the Seattle Intrigue Across America Workshop. Sarah Campbell, the owner of Intrigue Designs, specializes in stunning high end weddings. Moreover, she travels across the United States teaching event professionals and florists the tricks of the trade. Travis absolutely loved her experience with Sarah and had such a great time!

The workshop was a two day event hosted by Styled Shoots Across America. The first day was about learning new techniques and playing with beautiful flowers. First, the participants watched while Sarah demonstrated her signature styles. Travis got to try her hand at designing a heart shaped bridal bouquet. After that, they worked on installing a gorgeous archway piece. The flowers were then featured in a styled photoshoot. The venue for the shoot was at Sodo Park, a highly sought after wedding venue in Seattle.

The second day was all about business. The focus was learning the ins and outs of the floral industry. In addition to the workshops, Travis had the privilege of attending a mentorship dinner with Sarah! She learned so much and is excited to implement what she learned here at Calyx. Watch for some big changes coming soon!
