Check out some our of Stunning Designs from the Sheraton’s Bridal Showcase

Sheraton Red Deer Winter Bridal Showcase

You have got to see some of these amazing photos from the Sheraton Red Deer Winter Bridal Showcase, they are absolutely amazing! Candice from Candy Koated Design Studio takes such amazing dark and moody photos, she really captured the look we were going for!  There were so many great photos to choose from.  I had a really difficult time deciding which ones to share.

I love collaborating with other wedding professionals and this Bridal Showcase was the perfect opportunity.  It’s great to work together to provide great inspiration to our local brides.

Each year the Sheraton Red Deer puts on a beautifully styled invite only Showcase where we are invited to collaborate with other vendors to create a stunning inspirational displays for all of the attending brides.  I was thrilled when I found out that I was chosen to work with our good friends at Special Event Rentals.  Their selection of rental items is wonderful and I just knew we would design with something beautiful.  To complete our overall design we looked to history (ok, some of it made-up history… but thats ok too!) and designed each of our 4 tables around a somewhat historical theme.  We even named the tables!

Our head table design featured a 12 foot high backdrop of black satin. Creating an incredible feel of elegance with just a touch of Great Gatsby we added some sequin tablecloths  (because SPARKLE!) and a whole lot of fresh white and gold florals and WOW! What a table!  I also really loved how we designed the head table with two tiers!

Our Gothic Romance table featured 3 gold candelabra topped with fresh florals in burgundy, navy and blush (my new favourite colour combination!) while our Downton Abby table (based off of my most favourite TV series!) was covered in sequinned lace with a compote centrepiece – the new big thing!! – and featured floral accents at each place setting.

Last but not least was our harvest table setting, with a bit of a rustic feel, this table held an amazing 16 foot long fresh floral table runner (want to see me make it? ). I LOVED everything about this table!

Also, a huge thanks goes out to the incredible ladies from Novia Mia Bridal who lent us one of their stunning gowns so we could grab a few photos of the bouquets we had designed.
