Stephanie and Dallas’ Mountainesque Wedding

I’m so excited to share with you Stephanie and Dallas’ Mountainesque Wedding! Canyon Ski Resort is the perfect venue for that chic mountain vibe without having to go to the mountains! Certainly the case with this wedding!

The couple had planned on having an outdoor ceremony, however, typical Alberta weather forced them to move indoors. To no dismay, the cozy mountainesque lodge was available for such an occurrence! The grand river rock fireplace made a perfect backdrop, while florals add a boho elegance to the rugged mountain vibe. I certainly wouldn’t have guessed this was the backup plan!

Scattered rose petals led our gorgeous bride down the aisle. Stephanie carried a stunning oblong hand tied bouquet of chocolate cosmos, roses, ranunculus, succulents, lisianthus, and astrantia. The florals were individually placed among eucalyptus and olive branches. I seriously cannot get enough of this bridal look! That Theia Couture dress from Pearl & Dot Bridal Boutique pairs perfectly with such a bouquet. Very boho chic.

Next up, the bridesmaids’ bouquets were designed with fresh mixed eucalytpus greenery. Simple yet stunning, they compliment the bride’s bouquet perfectly, assuring her bouquet was the star of the show. They also stand out nicely against the neutral toned dresses from Your Wedding Place. Aren’t these ladies lovely?

Not to be forgotten, the groom and his groomsmen. Dallas wore a ‘mini bouquet’ style boutonnière designed with flowers from the bride’s bouquet. Blooms were kept lighter in colour to stand out against his black suit. The groomsmen’s eucalyptus boutonnières were a nod to the simplicity of the bridesmaids’ bouquets. Looking good gents!

Now onto the reception details. The beams and vaulted ceiling certainly allude to a mountain lodge. But take a look at that incredible chandelier! Definitely the “wow” factor in the room. This element was created with salal and mixed varieties of eucalyptus. Greenery can be so impactful! Speaking of such, fresh loose eucalyptus placed at the base of candles created the centrepieces. In addition, the fireplace was made to look as though greenery was growing up the rocks. For a final touch of boho flare, the arrangements from the ceremony were relocated to the mantel and florals tied to golden hoops were hung on the stone. All in all, that is one beautiful reception hall!
